Satechi R1 Multi-Angle Foldable Tablet Stand (Review 2021)

Topic:- Satechi R1 Multi-Angle Foldable Tablet Stand (Review 2021)

Satechi R1 Multi-Angle Foldable Tablet Stand (Review 2021). Hi, I am Shakib and welcome back to TechHypes. I’m glad to have you back with me today because we are talking about iPad stands. Now, that’s the thing that everyone wants, but the hard to find because a lot of them is they’re cheaper or chintzy. They may not be manufactured well and they don’t necessarily last. But I am a connoisseur of iPad stands.

Satechi R1 Multi-Angle Foldable Tablet Stand

Pros
  • Attractive design.
  • Easy foldable.
  • Great viewing angles.
  • Hinges hold steady in place.
  • Lightweight.
Cons
  • Needs a heavier base to prevent tipping.
  • Only works on the flat surface area.

I would say that not a joking matter because I probably have about ten of them at this point. Now, there is no different standing depending on what you’re doing. You might want one stand versus the other because it’s just maybe it’s going to be more applicable, more in terms of being purpose-built. And in today’s blog, we’re going to go ahead and look at my favourite stand for the iPad. It’s going to cover the iPad Pro and any other iPad that you have.

So let’s get started. This is the Satechi Aluminum Desktop Stand, and this is my favourite desktop stand for the iPad. Now I say that because I love stands. I don’t know what it is. I just have 10 different stands around the house and I use them depending on what I may be doing with the iPad. Well, this is now my favourite one, and this just came out at CBS and I ordered it as soon as possible because I was looking to replace my other stain from Satechi.

Now, this is not sponsored by the techie. I just happen to like the products of this cost. thirty-five dollars. It is super thick to seize. It is one pound, 10 ounces. So it’s very heavy, all machined aluminium. And what’s great about this is not only the weight, it’s very sturdy and it can hold any size iPad, including the twelve point nine inch iPad pro.

Whether it’s the fourth generation after generation, it doesn’t matter. It has two articulating arms and there’s one arm on the top which we can talk about first. This will go ahead and rotate 180 degrees, which is kind of amazing if you think about it because it can go anywhere. And there is a second articulating arm at the bottom, which will take these one hundred and thirty-five degrees.

It can even fall flat. So if you’re travelling, you can go ahead and put this inside of your bag. What’s nice about this is that this entire bottom is lined with rubber. So when you put this on top of your desk, you shouldn’t see a mark on it. You shouldn’t make up a nice, which is going to be good here. Also, this arm here where is all going to be lined with rubber.

So on the back of it, where it comes into contact with your device and along the bottom as well, there is a pass-through port at the bottom. If you want to go and charge your iPad, so when you stick your iPad in here, it is safe, sturdy, and there’s no way to go and have it falls out.

It’s just got a really good feeling. It’s sturdy. It’s, very hefty, it feels good to have your iPad in here. Now, the reason why I have this on my desk is when I’m using my macramé and one Mac Mini, I like to go ahead and have a second display using Sidecar. And this is to me, the perfect height. Now, I might not all the time have in landscape orientation. I might flip it around the portrait, which is this is still going to work for. And I can also rotate this down. If I want to make a Face Time call using my iPad.

I certainly can, because sometimes if you have maybe a MacBook Pro, you have a potato for a webcam, it doesn’t work that good. So you can use this, which is going to be great.

Conclusion

And so overall, it’s a really good deal, in my opinion, for thirty-five dollars. Now, the old stand that it replaced, this is the uncaught, maybe the previous version. This is the R1 Hinge Stand from Satechi. This was my favourite stand up until this point when this came out. This is still good though. I’m going to go and repurpose it now.

Not only will it hold my iPad very securely, but if I want to if I have this portable display monitor that I use with me sometimes depending on if I travel for work, which hasn’t been lately, but I still do use it.

If I want to play games with my Nintendo switch and use this as an external display, I certainly could. This is going to be an all-around killer addition to any type of, you know, everyday carry or go bag that you take when you go travelling.

This is going to be a nice stand for that because it gives you so much flexibility. Now, what also what I like about this is just got a nice feel to it. So I just want to give you a little input into this.
