Welcome back to another article Many of you guys asked about the Benq Mobiuz EX2510. In this article, we will see what all features we get in this monitor, Does it even justify its price tag or not and how good is this monitor.
Talking about its price, you can buy it for around $249.99. First of all its design makes it look very premium. The plastic used in it also feels very solid Front the front, bezels are pretty less, there is a Benq Mobiuz EX2510 branding at the bottom and one light sensor is also given which we will talk about later in this article.
From the back, we see there is mobiuz branding at the top you get the support of VESA mount. Build quality is also pretty good there is a silver finish given to it with an orange accent the specialty of this stand is that you get many types of adjustments like swivel, tilt and height adjustments seeing its rear IO, two HDMI 2.0 ports are there, one DP port and one headphone jack as you have seen that you don’t get speakers in such monitors. But this one has two 2.5 watt speakers which give good quality audio and if you like to have a clean look, there is a cover given with it to hide the rear IO You get a joystick at the back to control the OSD with two more buttons if we see the display, there is an anti-reflective coating over it so you won’t have the problem of light bouncing off directly.
This is an IPS display which has Full HD resolution Display is 144Hz, so when you play games you’ll have a very smooth experience you get 1ms MPRT and there are four options given for overdrive talking about its performance, the display is very bright with 400 nits of brightness. So if there is direct sunlight in your room, you won’t face a problem. I’m using it at 70% and its enough for me. For those who want good colour accuracy, you get a 99% sRGB ratio so colors look really good this is an IPS panel so you get 178 degrees of wide viewing angle.
So even if you look at it from the sides, the colors don’t change or distort and since the size of the monitor is 24.5 inches, its pretty good for a FullHD resolution. So you won’t get any pixelation issue. there is one HDRi option and a specific button is also given in the front. but it not true HDR so it will basically look like you have increased the saturation or have added some filter to the screen, no true HDR here. as in other displays, you get an overdrive option, this monitor names AMA which has four options, you can select any one of them but I’ll recommend putting it on AMA 2, so colors don’t overshoot you also get the option of the black equalizer. So if you’re playing a dark game, you can see your enemies easily. You also get a blur reduction feature but if your freesync is ON, you cant switch this on, only one will work at a time if you want to turn on freesync, you need to go to the GPU control panel.
This monitor isn’t g sync certified but you can turn it on inside your GPU settings, and for that, you’ll need a DP cable as well to reduce the ghosting. You’ll get the blur reduction option in this though this monitor doesn’t have much ghosting. You’re going to have a good gaming experience as I told you guys, to see in the darker areas you’ll get two features – A black equalizer and Light Tuner. One special feature is that you get a light sensor which you might have seen in other BenQ monitors what it does is adjusts the brightness according to the ambient lighting of the room. so you have less strain on your eyes again in this also you’ll get four options. You can manage in it the OSD so these were its features. Now let’s look into its cons which are not much one thing is that it’s the price is $249.99 and you can buy a $249.99 display if you put a little more money.
The HDRi feature is only for marketing purposes, not much useful but apart from regular monitors you get all kinds of adjustments in the stand and the build quality is really great, feels very premium. So if you think that 24-inch monitors are perfect for your space and you want to invest one time on the best build quality and premium feel, go for it if you want to purchase this monitor. Also, I’ve added an Amazon link so you can compare and buy wherever you’re getting less price one more thing, some people are confused between this monitor and MSI Optix G241. So according to me, the 4000 Rupee difference is not worth it. But if you can afford it and want to feel the premium build with some extra features, you can always buy this one.
So this concludes the topic for Benq Mobiuz EX2510. That’s about it for me, I forgot to tell you something, If you’re enjoying this article, please make sure to share the article. If you have any questions, comment down below, and I’ll try my best to answer them.
